Full official description

In the frame of the European Parliament Pilot project HAB-Hub (aiming at the development of a demonstrator system for near-real-time monitoring of Harmful Algal Blooms), JRC.D2 Unit (Ocean and Water Unit) needs the supply of a portable hyperspectral spectrometer to be used for the collection of in situ radiometric measurements above water including in intense bloom conditions. The portability of the instrument will ensure the capacity of assessing small water basins, of reducing the costs of transport needed for data collection and of promptly collecting measurements with short-notice in case of blooms occurrences.
