Full official description

The aim of this contract is to generate policy-relevant evidence on how generative Artificial Intelligence (gen-AI) shapes both the supply of, and demand for, argumentative information in the European Union. To this end, the Contractor will: (1) run a large-scale experimental online survey to measure how real-time interactions with AI chatbots influence individual beliefs, reasoning and attitudes on EU policy issues; and (2) create a multilingual Human-AI Argumentation Corpus of texts written by professional writers, with and without AI support, and run an evaluation survey to quantify how AI-use transparency disclosures affect persuasion, confirmation bias, and information selection.
