ECHA intends to create a list of scientific experts to support public health risk assessments efforts following chemical incidents, in accordance with the Serious Cross-Border Threats to Health (SCBTH) Regulation. The procedure has its legal basis in Article 242 of the EU Financial Regulation. ECHA will draw up a list of individuals who meet the criteria set out in the notice. Applications may be submitted at any time until 30.09.2027 . However, we advise you to apply as early as possible, as assignments can arise at any point in time during the validity of the list (i.e. until 31.12.2027).
