EUPOP Mexico III aims to support the implementation of EU foreign policy objectives by strengthening the EU's ability to engage meaningfully with selected audiences in third countries in order to increase mutual understanding, improve the perception of the EU and of its policies and identify and nurture like-minded allies in bilateral and multilateral cooperation. It will a) strengthen EU–Mexico engagement on priority areas with the following stakeholder groups, such as Decision-makers (members of congress at federal, state and municipal level, civil servants, diplomats, business and industry federations/associations, etc); Influencers and multipliers (academics, journalists, think tanks, etc), Civil society actors; Cultural stakeholders and Future leaders; b) Deepen the engagement and exchanges with authorities and civil society actors at Mexican state level; c) Enhance the knowledge and understanding, perception, and attractiveness of the EU among targeted audiences in Mexico
