Development of DFMC SBAS/HARAIM Receiver Demonstrator
The current procurement process aims to develop a high maturity prototype receiver for GPS/GAL DFMC SBAS + H-ARAIM. The listed estimated value is €4,000,000.
What the buyer needs
- The current procurement process aims to develop a high maturity prototype receiver for GPS/GAL DFMC SBAS + H-ARAIM.
- This prototype will help validate the Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS).
- This validation will be useful to promote the MOPS as an acceptable means of compliance with regulatory documents for operational use, such as the European Technical Standard Order (eTSO).
- Additionally, the contract aims to incorporate Navigation Message Authentication capabilities into the receiver for both Galileo OS and SBAS.

Full official description
The current procurement process aims to develop a high maturity prototype receiver for GPS/GAL DFMC SBAS + H-ARAIM. This prototype will help validate the Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS). This validation will be useful to promote the MOPS as an acceptable means of compliance with regulatory documents for operational use, such as the European Technical Standard Order (eTSO). Additionally, the contract aims to incorporate Navigation Message Authentication capabilities into the receiver for both Galileo OS and SBAS. The goal is to define the necessary resources and develop minimum requirements for airborne equipment using these authentication features. These minimum requirements will be proposed for inclusion in the EUROCAE/RTCA MOPS.
