Full official description

The objective of this procurement procedure is to conclude a Framework Contract for the performance of Galileo Service Operations, in order to ensure the provision of the Galileo Services. The Galileo Service Operations activities to be performed within the FWC, include, at high level, the following activities: • operations of the Galileo Core Infrastructure (including the Galileo Space Segment and the Galileo Control and Mission Segments) deployed at the GCCs and at the relevant Remote Sites; • operations of the GNSS Service Centre (GSC) Infrastructure, significantly for what concerns SiS activities; • performance of the Infrastructure Logistic Support (ILS), including all levels of maintenance, of the Galileo Core Infrastructure and of the GSC Infrastructure under its responsibility. • provision of enabling services required for the operations of the above infrastructure: o Hosting Services o Communication Services (i.e. the GDDN – Galileo Data Dissemination Network) o Geodetic Services (i.e. the GRSP – Geodetic Reference Service Provider) o Timing Services (i.e. the TSP – Timing Service Provider) • support to the evolution activities of the Galileo System, including supporting the evolution and deployment of the Galileo Core Infrastructure and of the GSC Infrastructure that will be operated and/or maintained under the contract, and supporting the launch and initial testing of new satellites; • support to security (including cybersecurity) of the Galileo System, including the maintenance of the Infrastructure that will be operated and/or maintained under the contract. The Contractor to whom this tender will be awarded, will be a key partner of EUSPA for the provision of the Galileo Services for all the duration of the FWC, and will receive a significant level of delegation (and associated responsibilities) for the management of the wide scope of activities to be performed.
