Full official description
The Secretariat – composed of a FT Director, Private Sector Dev. Specialist, Admin./ Logistics/driver assistants, and PT Trade and Investment Advisor, ad-hoc experts and IT/Com. expert – will support the SB4U Platform (launched by the President of Uganda in March 2020). The SB4U Platform aims: to structure a PPP dialogue, to improve investment climate (green and sustainable), to steer economic reforms and implementing measures, to strengthen business and trade partnerships between domestic and European companies by producing market information and coordinating missions and events. Actions will: target potential investors to Uganda, create synergies with relevant interventions and policy (with EU Dev. Financing Institutions, with Uganda and EU Member States trade agencies or with existing PPP mechanisms such as the Presidential Investors’ Round Table). The contractor will also be responsible for organising and financing under this contract an Int. Business Forum and other events.
