Full official description
The overall objective of this contract will be to support the economic diplomacy aspects of the EU-SA strategic partnership, including those promoting the interest of the EU in economic, trade, investment and business terms. Two specific objectives should be covered by the project: 1) Improve the implementation and monitoring of the EU-SADC Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) (specifically with regard to EU-SA aspects), further unlock its untapped potentials and facilitate its review and evaluation and 2) Improve access of EU businesses to the SA market and advocate for a conducive investment environment and level playing field in South Africa. The project would be implemented through a Team Leader deploying a number of short term experts with activities of technical and dissemination nature as well as major economic diplomacy events.
